Leonard Lombardo, age 78 of Clay Township, passed away in his home on Tuesday morning, September 29, 2026. He was born on September 15, 1948, in Detroit. Leonard was a retired Chrysler truck driver and a very proud Marine who served in Vietnam. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tiger and Lions and loved fishing, boating, and bowling. Len met Cathy Wells in 1982 and married in1993. He gained a son, Tim, and had two daughters- Christina and Tricia. He is survived by his wife, Cathy; children, Christina, Tricia, and Tim; siblings, Diane Moon, Larry, Nick, and Robert Lombardo; as well as several nieces and nephews. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Frank Lombardo and Geraldine Evans; brother, Joe; and sister-in-law, Jackie Marie Lombardo. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial tributes can be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
