Robert A. Mann, 52, a lifetime resident of Macomb County, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at St. Joseph Mercy- West Hospital, Clinton Twp. He was born Oct 16, 1948 in Fayette County, WV.
Mr Mann worked as a linesman for Ameritech. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War:
He is survived by his wife, Terri (Nee:Dempsey): Daughters, Jennifer Lynn McNeil, and Shawna Aaron (Brian) Lubs, Son, Jasen John (Melissa) Mann, grandchildren, Ryan, Taylor, & Dylan McNeil, Mother , Betty J. Kirton, Sisters, Cynthia(David) Diettrich & Vickie (James) Collette; and Brother, Duane Mann.
A funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Monday at Kaul Funeral Home,27830 Gratiot, Roseville with the Rev. Eric W. Majeski, St. John Lutheran Church, Fraser, Officiating, Burial will be in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Twp,
Visitation is 2-9 pm Sunday

While I was in Army basic training at Ft. Knox, KY I ran into Bob at the main PX. This would have been either July or more likely August 1968. He was also in basic, but in a different company/batallion so I never crossed paths with him again.I didn't know he'd passed away until I saw it here.
