Michael D. Koczara, of Rochester Hills, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the age of 68. Michael was born on January 7, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan. Beloved husband of Mary Ann for 45 years. Dear father of Christopher (Tammy) Koczara and Heather (Todd) Nucci. Loving grandfather of Carson, Calvin, and Courtney. Dear brother of Cecelia (Keith) Giles and the late Paula Koczara. Loving son of Nellie Koczara. Michael is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other family members. Michael was a proud deputy with the Oakland County Sheriff Reserves. Retired employee after 40 years of dedicated service to Chrysler Corporation. He loved cars and all motor sports. More than anything, Michael loved his grandchildren.
