KNOXVILLE- Laura J. Hill, age 72, died peacefully at her home early Wednesday morning February 3, 2021 from cancer and went to her heavenly home to be with our heavenly father. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Knoxville and was retired from Kroger in Farragut (with 23 years service). She joined her parents, William & Elizabeth (Betty) Tomaszycki of St. Clair Shores, Michigan & her brother, Michael Tomaszycki. She is survived by her husband Garri J. Hill & his son, Dustin Hill & his daughter, Alaina Goto & her husband Takumi along with 4 grandchildren; sister & brother in law, Janelle Merry & David Hill; brother, William Tomaszycki; sister, Eileen Denryter; brother, Arnold Tomaszycki & his wife Cheryl & 2 aunts, Cynthia Hall & Kathy Owens as well as several nieces & nephews. Laura’s surviving children are, Cheryal Gondol & husband Simon, Lorie Coppock & husband Ken, Debbie Webb, Ronald Zielinski & wife Cassadi. Laura’s children blessed her with many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Laura had many friends & will be missed by all who knew & loved her. In lieu of flowers memorials & donations may be made in her memory to St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 633 Saint John Ct, Knoxville, TN 37934-1555. The family will hold a small gathering of close friends and family for a graveside service March 13, 2021 (due to Covid) at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd Knoxville, TN 37932.
