Joanne Brown had that volkswagon that everyone piled into and went out to search for "Luke the Spook". She drove it even on the sidewalk! (I'd never let my beautiful 15 year old grandaughter be that crazy!!)
I was a Catholic school kid (St Isaac Jogues) who had to fit into the public school mode. Sometimes felt like a fish out of water. But I felt that everyone was really friendly and accepting.

In 9th grade, I met Nancy McPherson Conn and we've been friends ever since. We were even relatives for about 10 years while I was married to John Conn's cousin.
I think high school is a scarier place for teens now. I think the world is a scarier place for teens.
What we talked about doing in high school, the kids are actually doing in middle school! (Not my grandkids!!!!!!!!!)
World was a friendlier, kinder place for the class of "67"!!
