Being a Huskette for 3 years and practicing 2 nights/week plus 2 afternoons.
Wearing my favorite madras culottes that were a bit too short and I knew that we could not wear culottes and being called to the office so that they could call my Mom to bring me something else to wear!
As I looked at the background of the Home Page, I noticed Simon and Garfunkel and the album cover for "Sounds of Silence". I remembered my "Creative Writing" class with Miss Macklem (pg. 26 of the LHS "Spectus") and the assignment of writing an essay, "What are the 'Sounds of Silence'"? Does anyone out there remember that assignment? BTW, Did anyone else get a 4.0 on that one?

Since graduation I attended MSU and graduated in '71 w/ a B.A. majoring in Secondary Education. I then went to Electrolysis School (permanent hair removal). I should have gone to Med School. I enjoyed working at Trail Apothecary in G Pte. at a Pharmacy Asst. I was an Aerobic Instructor at Vic Tanny/Bally's (Harper/8 Mile) for 10 years. One of the most interesting jobs I had was working for Tony Soave at his residence on Lakeshore, the largest home and property near Moross. What an experience! I have so many stories to tell about that! More to follow!
